Location: Bagnor
Feeder
Session: 07-Feb-2017 08:00 to
11:10hrs
Headlines: A disappointing
session did not start well, I arrived
at the same time as a tanker delivering oil to one of the houses that blocked the lane to the fields . I was delayed about 10 minutes. Three birds were
captured just after nets up and two at about 09:15 after which no
birds came to the feeder. A look at the matching visit for 2016 shows it not
to be much better. Great Tits were about, unlike at Snelsmore, but were
singing and feeding along the hedgerows. Other than this it was quiet.
Weather: bright warm in the
sun calm
Present: JL, GB, IW
Nets: 12metres a 6m net
each side of feeder. Up from 08:10 to 11:00hrs
Lure ( feeder): Peanuts, Black
Sunflower, Fatball, Niger
