24/02 Bagnor Feeder

Did the scheduled second half of February session at the Bagnor Feeder this morning with IW. Set up the usual two 6 metre nets one each side of the feeders p from 08:00 to 11:00hrs. Only captured three birds: two 1st CY Blue Tits and a 1st CY Greenfinch; 3(3/0). It was bright, sunny, cold and quite windy. The latter would have affected the capture, had there been good numbers to capture that is.
Last years matching capture of the 18-Feb-2016 was a little better:

Sightings 34 Species: Buzzards displaying and soaring and the first Redwing here for a while. Since we had little to do we searched the field thoroughly but found little of note.
