Recaptures: None
Sightings 34 Species: Ian's list. A few Swallows and House Martins moving southeast for most of the morning. A high flying Magpie over is interesting and some rapture activity for a change. Dartford warblers were active today, and a few more Chaffinch about; these have been hard to find on the common until recently. At least four Song Thrush dropped in like migrants; the local birds being hard to detect this time of year. As we were loading up the car a Hobby gave prolonged close views and good aerobatics as it chased and captured dragonflies above us.
