Session:
Headlines: It looks like a rainy
weekend so we did this feeder today as it looked to be the best of the three
days. Very quiet, can’t work out why, food not going as fast as the other
feeders and not many birds waiting in the trees either. Sat for about half an
hour yesterday morning watching the feeder; about 10 Greenfinch, 5 Goldfinch
max and a few tits was all that turned up also three grey squirrels and four rabbits. A 04-Dec-2014 ringed Long-tailed Tit, is a good recovery. There was quite
a lot of human activity nearby that could have affected the capture, if there
had been any birds to capture. This visit looks good compared to last year’s
equivalent. Just one more visit to each feeder after the 15th March and that’s
it!
